Does your company or group want to help lions, tigers and bears in a unique way?
This is a great opportunity to be up close, but not “too” personal, with our animals! We can always use work parties to help with a variety of tasks around our sanctuary and we are happy to acknowledge your company/group on our website – with photos!
Since most work projects involve physical labor, volunteers should be physically able to perform general gardening tasks such as raking, digging holes, hauling dirt, painting, light construction and general labor. (minimum age is 18).
Projects can vary from day to day or can be seasonal. Volunteers will need to provide their own food, water and work equipment (gloves, work boots, hat, sunscreen, and appropriate apparel). When you call our office to inquire and schedule a Work Party, more specific project information can be provided.
